Meetup – May 8

You’re invited to a special presentation on the cooperative economy in Cuba. With 5,000 worker-owned businesses already in operation, cooperatives have achieved a prominent role in Cuba’s socialist economy and are expected to continue to grow.

Camila Pineiro, an expert and consultant on the solidarity economy and cooperatives in Cuba, will examine how the cooperative sector has evolved and the role cooperatives are playing in shaping Cuban society.

Please RSVP to let us know that you can come. We hope to see you there!

Wednesday, May 8th, 6:30-8:00pm
